Premier Meats, Inc. (PMI) is a new 12,000 sq. ft. locally owned Meat Market and Processing facility located between Viroqua and Westby Wisconsin. PMI has recently added Organic Certification and processing and will soon be doing USDA Inspected Processing. We are growing and have the need for the following positions.

Efficiently operate in all areas on the kill processing floor while also being able to adhere to good safety practices, HACCP and food safety policies, and company policies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Looking for experienced help for our Beef, Hog, and Sheep slaughter processing area.

- Must be able to perform tasks for periods of 8 hours on concrete floor, some of which may include but is not limited to standing, stooping, walking, climbing, and lifting.

- Some heavy lifting required.

- Maintain operation and sanitation of equipment during production.

- Clean up area at end of production shift, including but not limited to sweeping, picking up debris, and spraying area down.

- Must be able to work near/with saws, sharp knives, hoist equipment, and sanitizing and wash down chemicals.

- Ability to communicate effectively with company employees and all levels of management.

- Familiar with the safe operation of equipment.

- Ability to perform job requiring repetitive motion for a minimum of 8 hours.

- Must be able to maintain prompt and regular job attendance.
